In the word "whereabouts", always ensure you avoid the common error of omitting the last letter 's'.
In both spoken and written forms, I see that people often omit the 's' in that word.
Sorry, it is "whereabouts" (not "whereabout").
e.g. She asked me if I knew the "whereabouts" of her son (not "whereabouts").
Also note that "whereabouts" is one word and must not be split or hyphenated.
i.e.
Not "Where abouts"
Not "where-abouts"
