Well, I just heard "childrens". I heard it clearly this way:
"Our late father left a good legacy for is childrens".
The man, probably, would have thought that adding 's' to nouns is the only way to pluralise nouns.
Hence, he is likely to say "criterias", not knowing that the word "criteria" is already a plural word. The singular form of it is "criterion".
e.g. There is just one criterion for living healthy but there are five criteria for becoming successful (not "criterias").
