What is the past tense of the verbs "learn" and "dream"?
I see and hear some people say/write"learned" and "dreamed".
CAUTION: These are old versions of the words, and often adopted in American English (AmE). The Standard and British versions are "learnt" and "dreamt", respectively (not "learned" and "dreamed").
e.g. I learnt that stealing is a sin (not "learned").
Chika dreamt of his late mother (not "dreamed").
I hope this is clear enough?
Please, note!
