I got that from an online post, and what do you see wrong with the expression?
CAUTION: Events, meetings, activities don't hold. Rather, people hold them.
My point here is that it is a blunder to say that "an event will hold...".
Let me now put it correctly:
"This exercise is scheduled for June 6 and will be held at the same time in the whole federation...."
(That now means the event would be held by humans not the event holding by itself, as implied in the first expression.)
