Some words you hardly spell correctly.

Sunday, January 24, 2016 Let's spell: A. "Carburetor" B. "Caburettor" C. "Carburretor" D. "Carburrettor" E. "Carburettor" Which one is the correct spelling for that part of a car where gas/petrol and air are mixed together? The answer is "E", although American English spells with just one 't', as in "A" above. Also, please know that you double both the "c" and the "m" in the word "accommodation"; you should also note that there is a double "c" and single"s" in the word "occasion".
